For this project, I took the Employee Earnings Report for the City of Boston for 2015 and conducted analysis to see where Boston’s payroll budget went. While nearly all of the highest paid employees were with the Fire and Police Departments, the majority of the total money goes to the Boston Public Schools, so I drilled down more into how the school system’s payroll dollars were spent.
