Quarantine Art

Early in the pandemic, I was feeling a little stuck artistically, so I asked people to send me prompts and I worked on them and sent out art through the mail. I did a whole bunch of pieces from April 2020 until July, when I had to really turn my focus to my book, which basically took up all of my art time for the next year. There are a lot of standalone pieces in here, a few sets (backyard birds for my godson, Canadian wildlife for my friends’ daughter), two wedding gift sets (sets of three images from the weddings in question I made for the couples after the fact from photos I took), and one set of the planets (plus Pluto!) of our solar system I made for my cousin’s son. It was fun to wok on people’s requests, to make things I might not otherwise think to make, to break out of my drawing funk.
